熊本県山鹿市出身で、乳牛の臨床を４５年、酪農コンサルタントを３５年にわたり、熊本を中心に北は京都、南は鹿児島まで幅広くコンサルタントを行ってきました。私の得意分野は統計学や内分泌学で、コンサルタントでは多変量解析統計による予測や最適解、変動要因の検索などを得意としています。趣味としては、パソコン（自作も行いました）に取り組むことがあります。

私の信条
私の信条は、データ主義です。感情や思惑を排除し、多変量データを統計処理し、数字化された事象が何を訴えているかを追求することが科学をすることだと考えます。飼料設計も科学であり、同じ条件下では同じ結果を得ることができるはずです。そのため、私は条件を同じにした場合、どんなに安価な餌でも同じ結果が得られるべきだと信じています。これが私の信条です。
